Remove drums from a song (make a drumless track)
Remove only the drums from a song to make a drumless track for drum practice or drum covers. Vocals, bass and other stay. You can also save the removed drums separately to listen to the parts.
The first run downloads an AI model (about 90 MB); later runs use the copy stored in your browser. Nothing but the model is transferred and your files are never uploaded.

Add songs
Drop audio such as MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC, or video such as MP4 or MOV. You can process several songs at once.

Choose the output format
MP3 at 320 kbps is the default. Choose WAV or FLAC if you will edit the result. The first run downloads the AI model (about 90 MB).

Listen, then save
In the result player, mute, solo or change the volume of each part to compare, then save each file or export the mix as one file.
How the drums are removed
The AI splits the song into four parts, vocals, drums, bass and other, and adds the three non-drum parts together as the drumless track. Some cymbal decay can remain, but not enough to matter when you play along.
To practice slower, run the exported track through Change audio speed with pitch preserved. In Chrome or Edge on a computer it runs on the GPU (WebGPU); on the laptop we tested (integrated GPU) a 4-minute song took about 1 minute. On iPhone, iPad and Safari it runs on the CPU and takes longer: about 7 minutes for a 4-minute song on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Frequently asked questions
Can I extract just the drums?
Yes. Two files are produced, the drumless track and the drums alone, and each can be saved.
Will cymbals or hi-hats remain?
Some cymbal decay can remain. It usually doesn't matter when you play along, but mute the drums in the result player and listen before saving.
Can I remove the bass as well?
Split the song on the Stem splitter page, mute the drums and bass in the player, and export.
Can I slow it down for practice?
Yes. Run the exported drumless track through Change audio speed with “Keep pitch” on and choose 0.75×, for example.

If a conversion fails, sending us the circumstances helps us track down the cause. Knowing which devices and formats fail most often, and how long processing takes, lets us revise the supported formats and fix the bugs behind them. If you don't mind, leaving this on is a real help.
What is sent
The tool you used and the settings you chose (output format, quality, etc.), your device specs (GPU, memory, core count), the input format with a rough size, how many files succeeded or failed and how long it took, and the error type and details when something fails.
What is never sent
The files themselves, file names, text, subtitles or prompts you add to a video, and IP addresses. The data goes only to this site's own server, never to a third-party service.
