About lossless trimming
With the output format set to "Same as input" and no fade, the audio is cut without re-encoding. The MP3 or AAC data is never decompressed, so there is no generation loss and the operation is instant.
Adding a fade or changing the format decodes to PCM and re-encodes. That still happens entirely on your device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I enter times?
As 1:23 (1 min 23 s), 1:02:03 (1 h 2 min 3 s) or 83.5 (83.5 seconds). Leave the end empty to keep everything to the end.
Is quality lost?
Not if you keep the format and add no fade, because nothing is re-encoded. Changing format or adding a fade re-encodes.
Can I cut several ranges?
One range per run. For several ranges, change the settings and run again.
Can I trim the audio of a video?
Yes. Drop an MP4 or MOV and only the audio track is cut. To cut the video as well, use the "Trim video" tool.

What is sent
The tool you used and the settings you chose (output format, quality, etc.), your device specs (GPU, memory, core count), the input format with a rough size, how many files succeeded or failed and how long it took, and the error type and details when something fails.
What is never sent
The files themselves, file names, text, subtitles or prompts you add to a video, and IP addresses. The data goes only to this site's own server, never to a third-party service.
