About converting HEIC to PDF
HEIC cannot go into a PDF directly, so photos are converted to JPEG (quality 90) first. The photos face the same way as they do on your iPhone.
Use "Move up" and "Move down" in the list to change the order. Some browsers cannot show thumbnails of HEIC photos in the list. In that case, check the order by file name.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. Reading the photos and creating the PDF all happen in the browser on your device. Statistics that help us fix bugs (the range of image counts, ranges of how many images were inserted as they are or converted, error types and so on) are sent to this site's server. They do not include the content of the photos or file names. You can turn the statistics off with the "Send processing statistics" switch at the bottom of the page.
How many images can I combine?
Up to 500 images at a time. With many images, depending on your device's memory, it may take a while or fail. In that case, make several PDFs and combine them with "Merge PDF".
Do the date and location of my photos stay in the PDF?
No. EXIF data such as the date taken and location is not put into the PDF. Photos are shown in the orientation recorded in their EXIF data.
Do I need to convert HEIC to JPG first?
No. This tool converts HEIC to JPEG before putting it into the PDF. If you want to save HEIC photos as JPG images, use "HEIC to JPG".
Help us improve the service
If a conversion fails, sending us the circumstances helps us track down the cause. Knowing which devices and formats fail most often, and how long processing takes, lets us revise the supported formats and fix the bugs behind them. If you don't mind, leaving this on is a real help.
