How to use

Add an image
Drop the image you want to crop. Screenshots can be pasted directly with Ctrl+V.

Choose the area
Drag the box to set the area. Pick an aspect ratio to lock it to a social-media size, and set rotation and flips here too.

Run and save
Choose the output format and quality, then run. Use “Compare” to check the result against the original.
Cropping tips
Profile pictures are square (1:1), Instagram feed posts are portrait 4:5 and YouTube thumbnails are 16:9. Choosing the ratio first and then moving the box avoids having the platform crop your image for you.
Cropping re-encodes the image, so keep JPG quality around 90 to avoid visible loss. PNG and WebP preserve transparency.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set the crop area in pixels?
The current width and height are shown in pixels at the top right of the box. Watch the numbers while dragging a corner.
Can I rotate before cropping?
Yes. Rotation and flips update the preview immediately and you then choose the area on the rotated image.
Can I crop several images at once?
This tool works on one image at a time. To bring many images to the same size, use “Resize image” with “Fit to box” and “Fill box”.
Can I crop HEIC photos?
Conversion works, but browsers that cannot display HEIC show no preview. Convert with “HEIC to JPG” first, then crop.

If a conversion fails, sending us the circumstances helps us track down the cause. Knowing which devices and formats fail most often, and how long processing takes, lets us revise the supported formats and fix the bugs behind them. If you don't mind, leaving this on is a real help.
What is sent
The tool you used and the settings you chose (output format, quality, etc.), your device specs (GPU, memory, core count), the input format with a rough size, how many files succeeded or failed and how long it took, and the error type and details when something fails.
What is never sent
The files themselves, file names, text, subtitles or prompts you add to a video, and IP addresses. The data goes only to this site's own server, never to a third-party service.
